Our client is one of the world's leading construction consultancy's operating in a broad range of industry sectors covering property, infrastructure, oil & gas, energy, industry and government.
Recently they have won several multi-million pound contracts from one of the UK's leading utilities companies. This has created the need for them to expand their planning team; hence they are looking to recruit a Project Planner to be based at their Hertfordshire/ North London office.
Required skills:
-The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years planning experience. This can be experience gained in any sector. Persons with a water background will be given preference, however as mentioned above this is not essential.
-Experience of using Primavera P3e planning software or P6 planning software is essential
-Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with the planning department and other planners internally and both clients and contractors externally
Responsibilities:
-The planner will be expected to produce detailed logic linked level 3 plans initially from Study order to project design phase and eventually through to construction phase
- All plans are required to be fully resourced and cost loaded. These costs are used as a baseline to report against to the client and to a very high level so accuracy is imperative
- Once plans are set up progress update will be required on a fortnightly basis, reporting any issues to the Project Manager and advising impacts and recovery solutions
Remuneration:
For the successful applicant, our client will offer remuneration of up to £45,000 per annum dependent on experience. Other benefits will include a generous car allowance, pension and healthcare.
