IT Project Manager Stakeholder Mngt London £50-60k
IT Project Manager Stakeholder Management, Matrix, Prince 2, PMI, PMP etc. My client, a world leader in their field is now looking for an IT Project Manager to join their rapidly expanding organisation.
The ideal candidate will have had proven project management experience within an IT environment, having worked in a “matrix management” environment. You will have worked to a recognised Project Management Methodology (Prince2, PMI, PMP or APM etc) and will have had proven vendor management experience. It is absolutely essential that you have strong stakeholder management experience as well as Risk budgeting and managing risks/ issues, scope change and reporting the progress of an activity against a plan. It would also be highly desirable (however, not essential) if you have had previous experience with RUP, Web experience and one core IT skill (Programming, Systems Analysis, Web Development etc).
The role will involve the definition, documentation, planning and execution of projects, directing and counselling team members, and advising clients/ users as necessary on all phases. You will be setting and communicating project goals and objectives and reporting on these throughout the project life cycle as well as preparing and maintaining realistic project, quality and risk plans and the monitoring and controlling of team performance against each plan and its milestones. We are looking for a project manager with experience in an IT environment who has strong communication skills developed from stakeholder management and client interaction.
