Essential Skills: Full Life cycle BA, Project Management and Prince 2. Oracle BI tools such as Discoverer & BIEE would be useful, but by no means essential.
My end user client in a superb location in London has an exciting position for a BI Business Systems Analyst.
Main responsibilities will be for the functional and business development, the enhancement, implementation and support of various business systems, specifically within a project life cycle.
As Business Analyst you will be responsible for the analysis, design recommendation and implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions to meet customer needs. Working with analyst from the business streams, development teams and IT Support. The job holder will receive strategic, tactical and operational Business Intelligence requirements and ensure that the solutions to those requirements are in line with the Business Intelligence strategy and add value to the customer.
As Business Analyst you will work individually or as part of a project team and will be responsible for working with the users to set expectations, identify business, identify business improvement opportunities, scope, gather requirements, create specifications, lead workshops and create testing and training strategies.
This role will involve analysis, design and specification of solutions as well as management of day to day issues, customer liaison and some project management.
As a Business Analyst requirement for this position you must have relevant practical experience working in an IT or customer service environment; project environments with a range of technical projects; Prince 2 with the use of project management tools; UML; the key stages and processes involved in the implementation of a project having used project development life cycle methodologies, best practise and quality standards; analysing and understanding business functions and processes; knowledge of business process tools; process design and delivery; data analysis and systems roll outs and deployment tasks.
