Job Requirements:
The role is to provide specific process expertise in the design of pharmaceutical and bio-technology plants and other relevant industry sectors. To provide all process engineering input required in the execution of a project/ proposal/ study. To provide a source of technical expertise in the wider process arena, particularly safety.
Key areas of responsibility to:
- Provide support to the sales and proposal departments.
- Carry out concept and design studies.
- As lead engineer to ensure that process design is carried out according to programme and within budgetted man hours.
- Ensuring the pharmaceutical, health, safety & environmental issues are fully considered on a project.
- Ensure cost effective innovative designs are produced.
- Carry out technical audits on projects.
- Leadership of hazard studies.
- Maintain current awareness of process engineering standards, techniques and equipment in primary and secondary pharmaceutical and biotech processing.
Details:
Applicants must have experience in Industry. Process engineering design in contracting environment and pharmaceutical industry. In addition applicants must have a degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering.
