Senior Commercial Officer (6 month fixed term contract)
Our client provides tailored consultancy in the areas of Business Consulting, Management Services, System Engineering Services and Specialist Services. Our client is seeking a Senior Commercial Officer to support the business in the areas of commercial proposals and quotations, contract management and customer relationships.
Senior Commercial Officer responsibilities:
+ Preparation of the commercial responses to PQQs, RFPs and ITTs as required
+ Interpretation of the commercial aspects of Customer requirements
+ Commentary on customer Terms & Conditions
+ Drafting of commercial proposals and contract terms, including preferred shipment/ payment and any other special terms
+ Responding to clarifications of a commercial nature raised by potential customers
+ Submission of proposals for senior management approval within due date specified by the potential customer
+ Contract management responsibility in liaison with the Commercial Manager for identified customers/ programmes as required
+ Prime Contract administration
+ Drafting and management of Sub-contract Terms and Conditions
Senior Commercial Officer competencies required
+ Good Communication (written, oral and listening skills)
+ Eye for detail
+ Commercial awareness / Numerate
+ Good planning, organisational and administrative skills
+ Some negotiation experience
+ PC literate (Microsoft Office: Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint)
This role is a 6 month fixed term contract paying and hourly rate of £20.00
