Looking for a European Applications Engineer within the Wireless Infrastructure market. Should be degree qualified in electronics or a similar subject with a strong embedded background in C/ C++ or Linux, good understanding of microprocessors, possibly within a multi-processor/ multi-core/ multi-threaded environment, knowledge of high-speed communication protocols such as 1G/ 10G Ethernet, Rapid-IO, PCI-Express preferred. Also following would have a distinct advantage Wireless access and core infrastructure i.e. MAC/ RLC/ RRC/ Crypto processing, Wireline access and core infrastructure are also advantages i.e. L2/ L3/ L4/ Crypto processing
Our client urgently requires a European Applications Engineer to work with key customers across Europe within the Wireless Infrastructure market. You will work with sales and marketing teams in helping define and develop new products and take responsibility for demonstration and technical discussions with key customers.
You should be degree qualified in electronics or a similar subject with a strong embedded background in C/ C++ or Linux. You should have a good understanding of microprocessors, possibly within a multi-processor/ multi-core/ multi-threaded environment. In addition a working knowledge of high-speed communication protocols such as 1G/ 10G Ethernet, Rapid-IO, PCI-Express is preferred. Also candidates with experience/ or knowledge of any of the following would have a distinct advantage
- Wireless access and core infrastructure i.e. MAC/ RLC/ RRC/ Crypto processing
- Wireline access and core infrastructure are also advantages i.e. L2/ L3/ L4/ Crypto processing
