Digital Design Engineer
Our client is widely regarded as the leading independent British designer and manufacturer of quality radio products for international telemetry, data, voice and video wireless communications. Our client is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to design and develop new digital products using a mixture of DSP's, FPGA's and processors.
Digital Design Engineer responsibilities:
+ Taking full responsibility and ownership of the product for its life-cycle, from its creation
+ Working alone or as part of a small team to design the necessary hardware to meet the product specification
+ Working with the drawing office to produce a PCB design
+ Document new products in the defined format for production and write test procedures
+ Ensure all software generated is properly documented and archived
+ Provide technical support to customers and sales department on new and old products
+ Provide support for other departments during introduction of new products into production
+ To attend PR events and exhibitions etc, when requested to help promote our client and their portfolio
Digital Design Engineer experience required:
+ Experience of designing and developing new digital products using a mixture of DSP's, FPGA's and processors
+ Experience in audio communication would be preferable
A salary of up to £35,000 is complimented by a competitive benefits package
