Junior support Developer, Java, PHP, Open Source, London, City, Graduate
My clients purpose is to help businesses worldwide grow by providing compelling, open online advertising products and services that drive revenue. They operates at the intersection of advertising technology, advertising business model innovation and open-source communities.
Responsibilities:
•Spend at least 80% of week with the Support/ Consultancy team bug fixing .
•Be able to work with customers identifying issues and defining functional and technical requirements.
•Working within the Engineering team, participate in building high availability, business critical enterprise-level applications.
•Effectively communicate requirements to the development group and help ensure projects are delivered to agreed schedule.
•Enhance and extend, where required, existing applications
Mandatory Skills:
12 months experience combining analysis, design, development and implementation of web applications
•Experience of developing across full project lifecycle.
•Actual delivery experience on projects using PHP and relational database systems
•Experience with object oriented analysis and code refactoring
•Experience with relational databases
•Knowledge of client-side, browser scripting technologies
•Passion for Open Source software
