Development Manager - Avionics and Communications
Our client is a large scale leading organisation who delivers cutting edge solutions to meet the operational requirements in the fields of military and commercial aviation. Our client's portfolio includes radio and audio communications systems and avionics.
The role of Development Manager in Avionics and Communications entails:
•Management and maintenance of the Business Case and Plan
•Ensuring that projects and developments are kept within budget
•Establishment and coordination of a Product team who specialise in Avionics
•Manage the Product Decision Process
•Interfacing with clients in a sales and marketing role for the company's solutions for the clients' problems
•Providing direction to Capture, Sales and Bid teams on market opportunities
•Identification and capture of Research and Development funding in association with Sales & Bid Management functions
•Preparation of Bid, Proposal and Business cases
•Assimilate and utilise a knowledge of the technical and market environment and apply this to the commercial requirements of the business.
