AIX UNIX Support Engineer




My prestigious client based in West Malling, Kent, is currently looking for an IBM AIX UNIX Server Support Engineer, for this position you will either have security clearance or be able to obtain SC clearance having worked in the AIX Unix arena within the UK for more than 5 years.



Experience needed:



You will have experience in IBM AIX supporting UNIX based servers, ideally within an enterprise environment of over 100 Unix servers.
You will be taking part in a team of Technical Systems Managers at varying levels, acquiring skills needed to provide contracted support services to various clients.
You will be in strong in IBM AIX as your primary UNIX skill.
You will have Virtualisation ( VIO ) skills, and it would be beneficial to for you to have an accreditation in IBM AIX
You will be have good organisational, communication, self management skills. You will be keen to learn and develop your skill set within the IBM AIX - Unix area.
