An Intermediate Planner or Senior Planner with tender planning experience is required by a market leader. Working within their planning department, you will be responsible for the tender & contract planning on a number of multi-million pound construction projects.

Our client is a major international construction contractor, with a reputation as a market leader. They have a diverse portfolio that includes projects within the construction markets and facilities management.

You will work within the Estimating & Planning Department and you will be based in their Head Office location close to Watford. To be considered for this role you must have excellent communication skills as you will be required to liaising with clients, project managers, site staff, architects and directors.

Essential skills:

-The ideal candidate will have spent a minimum of 4 years working as a planner
-You will have at least 2 years construction experience ideally
-You will be proficient in the use of Primavera or PowerProject/ TeamPlan
-Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be communicating with Senior Planners and planning staff internally and both clients and other contractors externally

You will work within the planning department, and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

-Creating detailed tender programmes, assisting with bid resource requirements.
-Progress monitoring and progress reporting
-Communicating with the planning department internally, and clients and contractors externally

Remuneration

Salaries will vary dependent on levels of experience, but you can expect a basic salary of between £30,000 and £60,000 per annum. The company offers a generous benefits package, which will include company car/ car allowance, healthcare plan and pension.
