Hardware Engineer
Our outsourcing client is currently looking for a highly skilled Hardware Engineer to work on site at a pharmaceutical plant based in Berkshire.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.To provide hardware maintenance support for all equipment on site from desktop to servers
2.Carry out site surveys, site audits, installations, disconnections and preventative maintenance schedules as appropriate
3.To receive calls through Call Management System providing updates and call closures
4.To endeavour at all times to provide a superior level of customer service that achieves or exceeds customer satisfaction criteria
5.To ensure all escalation procedures, special instruction manual procedures, Call Centre standard procedures and customer related information is properly communicated
6.Properly manage and record all spares and return defective spares properly documented and packaged.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in the following areas:
•Compaq ASP & Desktop/ Server
•At least 5 years experience as a field or site engineer in a hardware environment
•Basic printer knowledge
•Self motivated, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure unsupervised
•Ability to communicate at all levels
•Organised, able to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
•Good administration/ spares management skills
•Educated to GCSE standard
