MICROSOFT INFRASTRUCTURE SPECIALIST / SHAREPOINT SPECIALIST - SQL SERVER / SHAREPOINT / SOFTWARE DEPLOYMENT - EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY WITH ATTRACTIVE PACKAGE ON OFFER - CAMBRIDGE!
My global leading software development company, cash rich, with offices in over 25 countries are expanding and are looking for an Infrastructure Specialist to support their continued growth and join their team in Cambridge. You will act as a consultancy to Product Development:- Influencing the design of the product by contributing expertise in large SQL SERVER databases, Sharepoint implementation, large numbers of users, global networks (WAN, Internet, Intranet). This consultancy will be in the form of contributing to workshops, writing infrastructure specifications & best practises documents. Please note, this is not an exhaustive list. You will also act as a consultancy to other departments.
Knowledge, skills and experience required:
- 5 years experience in large scale deployment of software solutions, specialising in either SQL SERVER database environments or hardware/ network infrastructures (and preferably both). This experience will include deploying and supporting many of the following Microsoft technologies:
- Sharepoint (preferably 2007, but at least 2005)
- SQL SERVER 2005
- Windows Workflow Foundation or Biztalk
- Web Applications and IIS
And deploying across
- Global networks - WAN, Internet, Intranet
