Our client is one of the UK’s largest specialist providers of accountancy services to SME businesses throughout the UK. With over 8,500 clients nationwide, this firm of accountants are recommended by the PCG (Professional Contractors Group), and hold the highest rank of any accountancy firm in the Sunday Times ‘Best Companies To Work For’.
Due to unprecedented growth, they are looking to hire an Account Manager to help maintain and build relationships with clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Offering tax, accountancy and business development advice to clients, ensuring that they are kept fully informed of changes to accounting and taxation legislation
· Completion of end of year working papers; advice on tax saving, expense claims, review of records
· Preparation of Statutory Accounts, CT600 and Corporation Tax Computations from practice spreadsheet and/ or incomplete records, complying with deadlines, guarantee and targets
· Preparation and Completion of References
· Completion of Personal Tax Returns
· To be the contact name for the clients and handle their queries and questions by email, telephone and post. Client meetings where necessary
· Coordination and management of all aspects of Payroll and VAT Administration
· Supervision of Administration Assistant(s)
· Ensure that the Company Service Guarantees are met
The ideal candidate for this fantastic opportunity will have the following:
· First class customer service skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Be an enthusiastic team player
· Excellent time management and organisational skills
· Relevant experience/ knowledge of the key responsibilities
· Commercial acumen
One or more of the following formal qualifications: ACCA, ATT, CIMA, ACA are desirable but not essential.
