Technical Account Manager - Leicestershire, East Midlands. Global market leading technology company requires an experienced Account Manager with good technical IT knowledge. You will have: commercial experience of providing Account Management services to users of hosted marketing databases; a proven track record of working with complex transactional customer data to provide accurate counts and to tight timescales; commercial exposure to analysing data using tools; prior experience of working with online and offline line data including online registration data, product purchase information, competition data, event/ conference information and demographic details; understanding of direct marketing best practices especially in relation to data protection; strong Excel/ Access skills (i.e. pivot tables, linking to external data sources etc); experience of using Helpdesk/ Contact Management / CRM packages to maintain lists of outstanding incidents and client change requests. Knowledge of data analysis using SQL, understanding of database design principles, exposure to business intelligence tools, statistical analysis packages (SAS, SPSS), campaign management and email/ SMS marketing applications would all be advantageous.
