Linux Systems Administrator – Redhat, Perl, PHP, MySQL, Central London 50k
My client has been recognised as a leader in web-based technology are currently recruiting for a Linux Systems Administrator to be based in Central London.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the production, staging and development infrastructure. Your duties will include the following:
• Responsible for backup, recovery, storage, and security.
• Strong focus on security intrusion and detection.
• Perform package and patch administration
• Perform user administration in a Un*x operating environment
• Administer storage
• Change/ release management
• Command of source control principles
• Performance analysis and tuning of infrastructure
• Maintain and improve monitoring and alert systems
To be considered for this you will need extensive experience as a Linux Systems Administrator with good exposure to the following; networking, TCP/ IP, firewall, MySQL, Jboss, Perl, PHP and experience with multi – tier website infrastructures.
