Pre-sales Technical Project Manager
This Pan-European telecommunications service provider with a extensive client list of carriers, ISPs, Enterprises, and the network reach and quality service they provide to customers are searching for a new role to build on the existing team in the UK. The proposed Pre-Sales technical project manager will be required to take FULL ownership of capturing customer requirements, propose & then design bespoke solutions specifically for their business needs. You may be required to assist in the post implementation of the network build also. The Pre Sales Project Manager will propose & present network solutions, on IP, MPLS solutions, DWDM, WDM and Ethernet technologies taking ownership for the design & document of the end-to-end solution in a project management capacity. You will take full take ownership & responsibility for the strategic pre-sales planning & technical design of the overall MPLS, IP, DWDM and Ethernet solution.
The role will need you to take the vision of the clients needs in a meeting & present them to the client in written and verbal format through PowerPoint or a whiteboard structure. Exceptional communication skills a must, good business insight and strong proposal writing abilities and project management skills are required as you will be seeing the pre-sales project from bid stage though to deployment.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience and a deep understanding of designing customer solutions across the following technologies, DWDM/ WDM, Ethernet, MPLs and IP solutions to carriers, ISPs, large City financial institution and media companies.
