Member of a team developing FleetFlow+, a group level Bulk Consumables (BC) logistics model, for the Maritime Effects Analysis Group at a government defence organisation. This is a bespoke discrete event simulation model written in Visual Basic .NET, which simulates the management of BC from within a RFA fleet to a deployed group, taking account of the Operational Tasking of that group. Responsibilities have included software development and unit & integration testing, in particular across the Excel spreadsheet data input routines.

Member of a team supporting the development of CONNECT, a roadmapping and data management system to support the UK MoD in the management of research and military capability. You will be working within a PRINCE2 project environment. Responsibilities will include: carrying out acceptance tests on pre-release versions of system, liaising with third party software developers, maintaining the project issues log, producing training materials and aiding in the delivery of interactive training sessions. The environment will be MATLAB and Unix. Must also have security clearance.
