Service Desk Analyst/ 1st line Support
A Large and rapidly growing European Logistics company seeks a Service Desk Analyst to join their Manchester team. Candidates should come from a background in providing Microsoft support and will be used to a busy service desk environment.
You will be covering 1st and some 2nd line support queries, around 1000 calls a month, escalating as required The client is rolling out Citrix so is looking for support in this area. In addition strong Windows 2000/ 2003, MS Exchange, XP and solid PC and desktop skills. Good Windows Server knowledge is also important.

Good verbal and written communication skills are absolutely essential and a focus on providing excellent customer service.

The kind of person we are looking for will be ambitious and ideally will be working towards MCP accreditations with a view to achieving MCSE in the future and really furthering their career in MS support.

The office is well located just south of Manchester. A good starting base salary is on offer of up to £20,500 plus excellent benefits. The company offers a good career path and a friendly, dynamic atmosphere.
