Intermediate Rail Planner
Our client is a large civil engineering contractor with an excellent reputation for providing innovative design proposals. They are part of a larger group which employs over 50,000 people across the globe.
The group has a specialist division which works on rail infrastructure projects. They pride themselves on completing complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget, and are currently working on a number of key, instantly recognisable projects. Due to recent contract renewals and project wins, the company has grown rapidly. The result of this increased workload is the need to expand the planning department. The client is currently seeking planners of an Intermediate level. This is to be based at their offices in Hertfordshire/ North London.
Responsibilities of the role include:
-Planning and programming civil engineering works at Tender and Construction stage
-Monitoring progress during construction, re-programming if required
-Preparation of submission documents
-Preparation of compensation event programmes and narrative
In order to apply you must have:
-A minimum of 3 years planning experience working on rail infrastructure or heavy civils projects
-Experience of Primavera P3e. You should have used this in a commercial environment for at least 2 years.
-You must possess good communication skills
Remuneration:
In return our client will pay a generous salary of up to £45,000 per annum basic salary (dependent on experience). There is also an extremely generous benefits package on offer of car allowance, health care and company pension.
