A P3e Planner or a P6 Planner is required to join the planning department of a leading rail company. You will be responsible for resource planning, materials planning, cost estimating and earned value forecasting. You must be proficient in P3e/ P6 planning software. This is a Hertfordshire based role.
The client
My client is a dynamic main stream contractor who have been established for over 75 years. Over this period of time they have established themselves as a well recognised and prestigious name in the industry. The company employs over 2,500 members of staff across the UK at their various regional offices. In terms of projects they undertake they work in the Infrastructure, Highways, Rail, Utilities and Building sectors.
The role
Due to expansion, project wins and recent growth, they are currently seeking a P3e or P6 Planner to be based in their Hertfordshire office. This is to work on a variety of projects within the rail sector. Projects within this sector include bridges, station refurbishments and signalling. This is a varied role and you will be involved in projects from tender stage to completion.
Requirements
-Ideally you will have 3 years project planning experience (other good caniddates may be considered)
-You will have experience of working on civils, M&E, signalling or station refurbishment projects
-You must be proficient in the use of Primavera P3e
-It would be ideal if you are also proficient in the use of P6
Responsibilities
-Planning and managing activities and resources
-Critical path, scheduling
-Resource & spend profiling
-Production of cost loaded programmes to accurately report cost of work done and cost to completion
Remuneration
In return our client will pay a generous salary of up to £43,000 per annum basic salary (dependent on experience). There is also a benefits package on offer including car allowance, health care and company pension.
