Lead Web Designer / Studio manager - Leicester – 28-35K - Photoshop / Flash / Illustrator / XHTML / Studio Manager / creative
Web designer with 5+ years commercial (preferably agency) web design experience required to head up the creative team in my client's web design studio.
I am looking for a highly experience creative with as several years experience of using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, illustrator, InDesign, Flash etc) to take a lead role in my client's web design team. This role is based in the multimedia team and you will be managing the more junior designers on the team whilst designing websites, flash animations, interactive campaigns, emails and banners. You will also be representing the company in creative pitches.
It is crucial that you have extensive web design and creative experience with Photoshop, flash, Dreamweaver, illustrator and HTML.
Essential skills:
-Flash, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator
-XHTML/ CSS
-Clear understanding of W3C guidelines
Desirable skills:
-Experience of SEO/ PPC/ online advertising
-Working knowledge of Javascript/ PHP/ MySQL
-Director, Final Cut Pro Studio, DVD Studio PR
With successful applicants having creative eye and a strong online portfolio, you will be required to prepare proposals and specifications for new sites as well as design concepts.
For the senior web designer looking for their next step up the creative ladder, this is the ideal role.
My client is looking to pay a starting salary of 28 - 35K dependant on experience.
