The candidate will be responsible for assisting the delivery of several enterprise applications from websphere 4.x to jboss 4.2.x. Working alongside the technical team you will be expected to take responsibility for integration with JMS/ MQ/ SOAP; oracle; apache SSL with mod_jk; jboss clustering; application profiling and performance tuning of the same. This is an all encompassing, challenging role which would be ideal for a technical expert looking to demonstrate their Jboss experience within a successful and established team.
Candidates would be expected to have an understanding of the relationships between application servers, browser, HTTP server, plug-ins, firewalls, database servers, and front/ back end load balancing is desirable. Experience of either Windows and/ or RH Linux would also be preferred. The ideal candidate would ideally have a computer science degree (or equivalent) and be a certified jboss administrator with experience of the jboss operations network
