Technical Author required. This project will requires a candidate who has experience of documenting a companies infrastructure and software, both in-house and third party. Baseline documentation is essential covering infrastructure, systems and procedures implemented and managed by the existing IT team. The role requires physical networking, pc and server infrastructure experience as well and third party and in-house developed applications. No end-user level documentation will be required as the aim of this project is to provide comprehensive support information for IT team members. The project is web based, ideally knowledge of the Plone CMS, Content Management System, is advantageous but not essential, as is knowledge of HTML and image editing. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience of producing technical documentation and delivering it using internet technologies.
The initial contract is for a period for 3 months, which may be extended up to 6 months on a monthly basis.
The client is based in Avonmouth, Bristol and the ideal start date is within the next two weeks.
