Exciting opportunity in the Midlands for a Mechanical Design Engineer. Key skills include a good relevant degree, knowledge of the aerospace industry, instrumentation, skills in stress / strain and other Engineering calculations, FEA (preferably using Ansys).
Based in the Midlands this new position will focus on the Mechanical design of pressure sensing components and assemblies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Mechanical Design of pressure sensing components and assemblies. Other responsibilities include reviewing new customer product opportunities and creating proposals and developing new products/ product enhancements for business identified markets.
Key skills should include a good relevant degree, knowledge of the aerospace industry, instrumentation, skills in stress / strain and other Engineering calculations, FEA (preferably using Ansys) and some knowledge of machined metal parts/ processes and detailed drawings.
