My client is looking for a SAP Data Manager with experience in SAP SD.
Role:
Maintain and update all Sales and Distribution data contained in company systems (SAP) in line with business guidelines.
The position is key for the Pricing Function, having strong interaction requirements with Marketing, Sales and Finance departments.
Undertake accurate management and manipulation of the Sales and Distribution data, in line with business objectives, while having full understanding of the impact of actions taken
Review, analyse and validate data trials to ensure consistency, integrity and accuracy based on business specifications
Translate business needs into data management objectives, interacting particularly with sales teams and product managers
Acquire full understanding of the data flows and management
Detect data inconsistencies, establish root causes, and recommend solutions for implementation
Acquire full understanding of link between Pricing function and IT function
Effective leadership of data analyst
Data Migration Lead responsible for the migration.
Attributes/ Skills Required:
Excellent data analysis and data management skills
Extensive knowledge of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)
Extensive knowledge of excel, including experience in manipulation of large databases and use of complex functionalities
Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Understanding of IT infrastructures preferred
Ability to work unsupervised taking responsibility of own actions
Ability to manage people
Experience/ Education Required:
Experience with SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)
SAP BW experience preferred
Track record of using Excel and of manipulating large data bases
VBA knowledge/ experience would be an advantage
Rate is negotiable dependant on experience.
