Project Coordinator

Our telecoms based client is looking for a project coordinator/ support officer on a long-term project. The role involves supporting the Sales team in pricing of network solutions for clients. This person will speak to the client and pull together from all departments of the business and the pricing and resources involved in the network solution being delivered.

The role has an emphasis on administration however requires project management skills, some technical knowledge and strong customer focus.

Major Responsibilities/ Results/ Outputs:
Sales Support
• Ensure that complete and accurate customer data (minimum data sets) are delivered to the correct post-sale community.
• Coordinate with Front End Organizations and respective Centres of Excellence to oversee implementation of complex orders that span multiple product lines.
• Help broader sales team assemble a holistic view of customer's business with the client, which may include records of proposals, contracts and network inventories across multiple platforms and product lines.
• Provide contract interpretation to the customer, as needed.
• Participate in Shared Expectations Sessions with customers, pre- and post-sale the client's organisations to communicate roles and responsibilities in the client/ the business relationship. Revenue Growth/ Retention
• Assist AE's in generating proposals, responding to RFPs, and closing sales of additional services to existing customers.
• Assist AE's in seeking new sources of revenue to counter effects of optimising core long distance business.
• Assist AE's in contract renewals, taking the lead as needed, in renegotiating contracts that are predominantly retention-focused.
• Support Sales Centre in new product and promotional initiatives.
• Provide analysis of customer traffic data (e.g., Pricer X) for contract renewals and upgrades. Customer Issue Resolution
• Be the sales centre contact for resolving billing problems, partnering with the post-sale organisation that is driving the process.
• Be the sales centre contact for resolving maintenance issues, partnering with the maintenance organisation that is driving the process.
• Be the Customer Advocate across the Post Sales Organisation to insure On Time Performance.
• Develop strong linkages and relationships with a variety of groups responsible for supporting the business services. Development and General Administrative
• Work with sales management to develop sales support, technical and leadership effectiveness through shared learning, sales meetings and attendance at formal training courses to achieve competencies.
• Follow sales organisation standards and guidelines.
• Attend industry and customer seminars and keep abreast of trends via Internet or trade publications to broaden learning experience.
• Follow sales centre and corporate administrative and expense guidelines.
