Senior Software Developer - Fortran, C++, Smaltalk - Nottingham, Notts - My client, a successful globally operating engineering company, is looking for a degree educated Software Developer who would be working on bespoke software applications. You will be involved in making improvements to software as well as develop applications using 3D graphics. The role also requires interaction with customers so strong communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level (computer science related degree) with strong object oriented development skills using Fortran, C++ or Smalltalk. In addition any experience in working on technical scientific applications as well as working knowledge of Ruby or C# would be very beneficial. Further you should have an interest and/ or experience of 3D Modelling, User Interface Development, WPF / XAML, Systems Interfacing and/ or XML would be highly beneficial.
