Software Infrastructure Engineer/ Technician. Strong SLA appreciation. Brighton - £24-26k. Particular emphasis on VMWare ESX & Windows Server 2003 experience. Excellent verbal communication skills are essential. Good knowledge of MS SQL Server 2000 or 2005. Strong technical knowledge of Windows (Server 2003 and XP). Active networking (Cisco and Netscreen, TCP/ IP, LAN, WAN). Knowledge of VMWare ESX, VCP preferred. Some Unix knowledge beneficial. Proven knowledge of Intel based Server hardware, EMC RAID arrays, and SAN storage and backup technology (Networker). Experience of business-to-business (B2B) file transfer technology. An ability to advise on and provide solutions. A pro-active individual.
