Manufacturing Engineer (High Volume)

£24000 - £27000 + Training + Pension + 21 days holiday
Are you a manufacturing engineer with experience of lean techniques looking to expand your skills in a high volume manufacturer where you can drive forward changes that will impact the business in a big way?
You will be given full support to develop your range of lean improvement skills with the opportunity to progress to new product introduction and project management.
Established over 90 years this company has a reputation for quality and innovation. They are a world wide manufacturer of automotive components for tier 1. They have over 450 employees in the UK and have a company turnover of over £40 million. With a full order book the company plan to expand their product range to meet a number of prestigious client's needs.
You will work with all manufacturing departments within the company assessing current performance and putting in place processes and solutions to improve performance and boost production.
The Role:
* Liaising with production across the site.
* Evaluating and improving current processes and production techniques.
* Utilising the full range of Lean Manufacturing techniques to boost production and reduce cost.
The Person:
* Experience of implementing lean improvements in a high volume manufacturing company.
* Ability to use the full range of lean manufacturing techniques.
* Proactive approach to improvements and resilience to see the changes through.
