My Government client requires an experience IT Service Analyst who is currently Security Cleared for an ongoing contract working on the In-Service Management team.
Responsibilities:
- Direct responsibility for the day-to-day management of the clients applications
- Custodian of the application Service Management Plan
- Monitor and maintain an Incident log for the relevant applications
- Investigate Feasibility, Cost and Timeframe of any Requests for Change and ensure they are captured.
- Provide advice and guidance to projects/ enhancements in order to ensure that requirements are articulated in sufficient detail, there is no duplication and that the impact on the current suite of applications is assessed thoroughly.
- Monitoring of performance against: (and changes to), CSA's, SLA's and OLA's for the supporting architecture - and the relations between the client and it's suppliers.
- Managed the implementation of improved capabilities (new applications or upgrades to existing ones) with respect to hardware, architecture, testing and documentation.
Key Skills:
- Must be qualified to ITIL Framework procedures to a minimum of Foundation Level.
- Must have good understanding of IS technology and IS development methodologies.
- Must be self confident and articulate amongst peers, senior officers and external senior management.
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar field (Defence).
- Must have awareness of the PRINCE methodology.
- SC cleared
