Technical Support Engineer (Aerospace)

£16000 - £18000 + Training and Development + Pension + Healthcare + 25 days holiday
Are you a recent engineering graduate, or someone with experience working in a repair and overhaul environment with great communication skills looking to deliver an outstanding service to major aerospace clients across the UK?
Established as a joint venture the company are a specialist in repair and refurbishment of components for the aerospace market. The company currently turn over more than £25 million, and are looking to expand the business rapidly during the next 5 years. With plans to broaden their current market and develop new technologies and techniques this company aim to be the industry leading supplier of repair services to the aerospace industry.
You will work closely with clients, involved from initial quotation, progressing their orders through the shop floor, resolving technical queries and compiling reports on company performance. You will benefit from excellent training and support on the companies services, production systems and processes.
The Role:
* Dealing with customer's technical queries.
* Liaising with shop floor personnel and the quality department to progress customer orders on time.
* Preparing quotations and contract documentation.
* Providing all departments with ongoing administrative support as required.
The Person:
* Degree qualified in mechanical engineering, or relevant experience of working in a repair and overhaul environment.
* Good telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
* Desire to deliver a fantastic service working for an ambitious company.
