This company are one of the market leading and most prestigious civil engineering contractor's in the UK and they are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to join them now.
This Project Quantity Surveyor appointment is for their new Cambridge highways project which is currently in the design and planning stage, and will be under construction in approximately 9 months time. You will be required to start work as soon as possible, and will be based in a project office located in Cambridge. .
<b>The role</ b>
This is a rewarding opportunity for a proven Project Quantity Surveyor within Civil Engineering to join a leading Civil Contractor to take on a large highways project that will exceed values of £500 million. You will be actively working on the Cambridge major roads construction which will last for 2 -3 years.
Being one of the largest civil contractors you will have the opportunity to build and expand your career and learn amongst the best. You will report to the Commercial Manager and assist with the procurement of this vast project.
<b>Who is this leading Civil Contractor looking for?</ b>
The Project Quantity Surveyor will have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience within quantity surveying and civil engineering and would preferably be degree qualified.
The role would ideally suit a Quantity Surveyor with experience of highways projects.
This leading Civil Contractor provides the chance to achieve quick progression along with fantastic training.
Preferable experience working on -
• Roads/ Highways
• NEC forms of contract
