SQL Server DBA – London to 47K

A new position has become available for a leading professional services organisation based in London. (not finance) Due to further expansion my client is looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA. This role will encompass all elements of a database administrator, including production, UAT, development and test environments. You shall also be getting involved in disaster recovery strategies, implementations, keeping abreast of new developments and technologies and ensuring the systems are correctly maintained and supported.
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track records with MS SQL Server (2000/ 2005), ideally familiar with data warehousing environments, SQL Server clustering and configuration, backup and recovery, database and application server performance tuning and system security.
