Graduate Software Tester – Stoke On Trent

A new opportunity has become available within a leading organisation based near Stoke On Trent. My client is a leading software house with growth plans of 40% over the course of the next year. They are currently looking for a Junior/ Trainee Software Tester or a Graduate level Tester to work on a variety of complex Microsoft based applications.
The objective of the position is to plan, script, execute and report testing and test results on new and existing applications. You shall be working within a team of experienced Software Testers, so there is a wealth of experience for the right individual to be able to learn from and develop their career within a technology driven company.
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in a computer related subject, a genuine interest in QA (Quality Assurance) and software testing. Ideally you will be familiar with Win XP and MS Office, and have had some exposure to SQL Server (2005). Any candidates that have previous commercial experience within a testing role will be highly regarded, such as some sort of work placement.
Candidates will be given the opportunity to learn new skills and develop in a commercial capacity, what you have learned through your studies. Any exposure to Microsoft technologies such as C#, VB, SQL will go heavily in your favour.
