Top fabless semiconductor startup seeks a Digital IC Design Engineer with skills in: digital, IC, ASIC, FPGA, design, RTL, VHDL, Verilog, front end, RTL, analog, mixed signal, CMOS, verification, back-end, synthesis, STA, static timing analysis, DFT, DFM, test, manufacture, floorplanning, powerplanning, EDA, place and route, PNR, P&R.

In a world of rising energy costs and concern about our carbon footprint, power consumption is an important issue for electronic equipment manufacturers. In response to this, our client has developed a compelling new power consumption solution, and has subsequently earned the title of one of Europe's top three emerging semiconductor companies.

They now require a Digital ASIC Design Engineer with some analog experience to be responsible for:

·Front-end digital circuit design

·Coding of the digital logic in Verilog

·Design of digital circuits for testability

·Back-end digital design: Synthesis of netlists, floorplanning, place & route, post-layout simulation and timing analysis/ closure of the digital block

·Working with analog IC Design colleagues on full system, mixed signal simulations

The Digital IC Designer will:

·Have a thorough understanding of digital design theory and practice

·Be an expert user of HDLs (including Verilog) and synthesis-place-route tool flows

·Have a full appreciation of IC testability and manufacturability issues

·Have some prior knowledge / experience in Analog / mixed signal design
