UNIX Consultant required to work onsite in Cheltenham/ Bracknell. The successful candidate must hold valid high level DV Security Clearance before commencing this assignment. The Unix consultant is needed to implement the delivery of an anti-virus solution. Using templates to document the deployment, whilst liaising with site management you will provide support for the local system administrators in execution of the scripts already produced to deploy and upgrade the SOPHOS AVS V6 on LINUX, UNIX (Solaris), HP-UX and TRU64 and Windows NT and 2000 domains. You will identify, progress and resolve any issues identified. You will be skilled in troubleshooting where scripts are not compatible with sued systems - updating scripts as necessary and liaison with the AVS team who will be centrally supporting the rollout, providing regular reports to the Integration TTO Manager.

Skills Required
Essential
Linux, Unix (Solaris). Knowledge of an anti-virus products. Experience of on-site implementation and integration. Ability and experience as a system administrator. Ability and experience of execution of test scripts, raising of issues, customer facing experience. Able to Travel.

Nice to have
HP-UX, TRU64, knowledge of http(s), FTP security hardening knowledge. SOPHOS Project knowledge. LGD experience
