Job Title: Tactical Datalink Systems Engineer
Location: Berkshire
Salary: £30k-£60k + Excellent benefits
Tactical Datalinks Systems Engineer required for a world leading communications and electronics solutions provider. Focusing within the world’s leading aerospace and defence companies providing an extensive range of communication and aviation electronic solutions.
The role:
To provide Tactical Datalinks expertise in support of Defence related Datalink and Communication Systems activities including:
-Requirements Analysis,
-System Design,
-System Build,
-System Integration
-Test & Acceptance.
Skills required:
-Producing Tactical Datalink Systems & Subsystem Architectures and Top Level Designs.
-Provision of support and expertise to Integration & Test activities
-Familiarity with the application of System Engineering within the Development Lifecycle, and use of modern SE CASE tools is essential
The successful candidate will have been working in the field of tactical datalinks, either:
Specifying, designing, and developing systems utilising tactical datalinks (particularly Link16); or
Involved in the management of the integration and test of those systems in land, air, or sea platforms.
