My client a leading hedge fund based in the City are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join its team.
Skills/ Experience required:
experience in all aspects of networking: administration, implementation, analysis and design, Routing Protocols (RIP/ EIGRP/ OSPF/ BGP), an understanding of Market data facilities, multi cast, understanding of VoIP and Cisco IP phone, supplier and managed services management, firewall skills (pix and DMZ configuration),and monitoring, configuration, utilisation of WAN.
desirable skills: Net app, brocade, FCP, CIFS, NFS etc and knowledge of dealer boards.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing high level, technical support to the network; Will also take responsibility for creating, implementing and maintaining global standards across the environment, incident resolution, act as a technical leader (last point of escalation), work closely with IT staff to identify and implement enhancements to the infrastructure.
