Experienced Database Analyst/ Developer, Sybase, Oracle 10g, PL/ SQL UNIX/ LINUX
Leading Global Investment Bank requires an expert Sybase Analyst/ Developer to join their formidable Data Engineering Team, they are market leaders with their cutting-edge quantitative investment strategies. This is a great opportunity for any senior Sybase Database Analyst looking for a new challenge.
Technically the position requires extensive experience in ETL tools (preferably Informatica), developers must have experience working within a team of at least 3 developers on large scale, high volume real time banking systems. The role requires broad technical experience but first-rate database skills are a necessity. (Preferably Sybase or Oracle 10g and UNIX/ Linux skills are also required, as is PL/ SQL.) Although not a necessity previous banking experience would be beneficial. An ideal applicant will have excellent problem resolving skills with the ability to seek enhancements to current and future Sybase database infrastructures.
