Quantitative Developer FX, Excel VB / VBA £60,000 - £70,000

My client a high profile Investment Bank urgently requires a Quantitative Developer to work in the FX Exotics area. Working as part of a small but talented team alongside Quantitative Analytics, to produce technological solutions and guarantee the smooth delivery of quantitative models to the business area. The team works closely alongside other business areas to address pricing and risk issues. This is a dynamic and fast paced environment requiring finance, quantitative and communication skills.

Exceptional Excel and VBA skills are essential to fully implement derivative pricing application development, a sound grasp of VB6 is also required. Experience with other relevant technologies such as SQL and XML, will help the candidate stand out.

Candidates must have a minimum of a 2:1 in a Numerate of Science related degree from an accomplished University in these fields. Strong communication skills coupled with extremely strong technical skills and an analytical approach are required.
