A leading Avionics company are looking for a Lead Systems Engineer to develop innovative systems solutions to meet the requirements of the project to agreed schedule, quality and cost requirements across the whole systems development lifecycle within the context of the lifecycle management process

Key Responsibility Areas:

§ Compile systems plans, estimates, task lists and risk management plans
§ Prepare system design specifications.
§ Capture, define and manage system level requirements.
§ Prepare avionics system designs and specify aircraft interconnect wiring
§ Ensure systems architectures are developed using relevant processes.
§ Identify and write system test requirements and demonstrate effective management of systems verification activities
§ Prepare and conduct verification and validation procedures for each system.
§ Prepare flight test plans and to analyse flight test data

The ideal candidate will have:

§ Advanced knowledge of Systems Engineering
§ Good Defence/ Avionics background
§ Experience of Requirements Management and relevant software tools.
§ Knowledge of current Systems Engineering standards and techniques.

Experience of aircraft equipment design including cockpit systems, air-data systems or monitoring systems would certainly be of benefit to you.
