We have been approached by this big hitter in the contracting world to recruit for a position based out of their head office in Fulham, working on a major commercial development worth circa £17.5m. This is one of many projects that my client has recently been awarded; with an ever-burgeoning pipeline including a new build college and an industrial plant to name a few.
Some of your day-to-day duties will include managing sub contractors and any contractual claims, approving interim and final accounts and to produce project value enhancement plans.
Ideally the successful candidate will have 5 years + experience with new build projects and be RICS or CIOB accredited. A relevant degree/ qualification to support the duties is a must. Excellent communication and management skills are essential as well as a sound commercial awareness.
The Quantity Surveyor will be rewarded handsomely with a salary of up £45,000 being awarded to the most suitable candidate. Also, there's a car allowance, health care and pension scheme contributions on offer.
