Looking for an Applications Engineer with good knowledge of Industrial Networking Fibre Optic applications. Electronics background required. Located in Western Germany.
Our key client is seeking an Applications Engineer, with a strong electronics background and specific Networking Fibre Optics knowledge, preferably from the semiconductor industry to join their expanding Applications Group. To be based in Western Germany.
Requirements:
-Degree or equivalent in Electronic or Electrical engineering
-Board level design experience with an ability to provide technical manufacturing support
-Knowledge of transceivers and modules for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet parallel fiber optics, Fibre Channel and SONET applications.
-Fluency in English. (German/ French/ Italian very beneficial).
Responsibilities:
-Remotely resolving technical issues for customers
-Supporting the Engineering and FAE teams in providing class leading support to customers
-Occasional international travel to visit customers
You will be experienced technically, possess excellent customer facing skills and relish this fantastic opportunity to be a technical expert for this OEM.
