Production Planner / Engineer
£25000 + relocation assistance + contributory pension + 25 days holiday

Part of a world renowned group; this company manufacture high tech instrumentation products for blue chip clients in the medical, oil and gas, automotive and aerospace industries. With their client database growing year on year; new products are being developed to ensure they maintain their market presence. The company has 4,700 employees at more than 40 facilities in 25 countries worldwide.
This is an interesting role in a busy department where you will be fully involved in all responsibilities production planning including new product introduction.
The company are based in the heart of Somerset and pay relocation for those wishing to move.
The role:
* Working in the global supply chain section, taking ownership of planning the work within the production unit to meet individual customer demands.
* Create daily and monthly production schedules, working across departments
* Work closely with the purchasing leader to control availability of materials
* Drive production
* Maintain MRP system
* Involved in the set up of NPI's
* Maintain the materials control systems, inc WIP tracking
The person required:
* Production planning with experience of using MRP.
* Excellent communication skills.
