Application Support Engineer (Windows, SQL, TCP/ IP) sought by award winning City based financial trading software provider to provide 2nd / 3rd line application support and client site implementations (plan, configure and roll out advanced internet trading systems) with Windows 2000 / XP / 2003, TCP/ IP, DNS, SMTP and SQL Server) for demanding city traders, exchanges and brokerage houses. The role will focus on complex problem analysis and resolution, working closely with traders and fund managers.
Requirements:
•Experience in application support role (preferably mission critical)
•Keen interest in technology (e.g. running a home network)
•Excellent communication skills with client facing experience / potential
•Knowledge of Windows 2000 / XP / 2003, TCP/ IP, DNS, SMTP and SQL Server.
