Unix Engineer - Bank, London Unix, Solaris, Linux, Clearcase, C, Java, Ruby, Perl, Shell, Subversion, Team Foundation- My client is one of the Worlds leading Investment Banks, and has been voted as one of the top IT sites to work in in the Financial Services arena. They current require a highly experienced Unix Engineer Specialist to join an infrastructure team supporting global operations across the all functions of the Bank. Your skills / experience should include extensive experience gained within highly complex, enterprise wide arenas. Unix, primarily Solaris, although some areas are moving to Linux so any exposure would be a benefit, Source Code Control (Subversion etc), Basic Windows, scripting experience such as Perl, Shell, Ruby, Python and ideally be comfortable with either Java or C. Whilst Investment Banking (or similar) would be ideal, its by no means a must. This therefore offer the opportunity to break into this industry.
