A fantastic opportunity in a start up Java software house. The team is developing a Greenfield spread betting applications and financial trading software. The company specialise in using Agile development methodologies and develop using Java 6. The successful candidate will be involved in the full life cycle of the development including architecture, design, coding, implementation and testing.
The team are looking for core java programmers who have a passion for technology and software development. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team.
Candidates should have experience using Java, Spring, Hibernate, JEE Container experience, Agile/ XP, TDD (JUnit), SQL/ ORM, Maven, Ant
Ideally you should also have experience of Continuous integration (TeamCity/ Cruise Control, SVN), AJAX (GWT, DWR), Oracle, MYSQL, WebLogic Server, Fitnesse, Eclipse/ MyEclipse/ IntelliJ, JavaScript (Object-oriented), UML, Selenium, .NET.
