A new and fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Technical Engineer to join a leading
professional services organisation in Manchester. The successful candidate will have responsibility of installation, configuration and support of PC, Server & peripheral IT equipment in a customer facing WINTEL environment including desktop & server network connectivity, configuration and support. You must have excellent communication skills and be capable of working independently on a wide range of products with great technical report writing and validation skills. Practical/ proven ability and in how to administrate in at least 1 billing system is essential. Your role will include: User Administration, Application administration, Patch data using SQL, Diagnose user error / application faults, Liaise with vendors, log faults, supply information, Understand business issues and identify if systems are/ can be configured to provide functionality, Perform unit, system and manual UAT testing, Perform Analyst / developer roles on CRM/ Billing/ Data warehousing projects.
