Software Build Engineer - My end user market leading client based in North West London is seeking a Software Build Engineer. For a permanent opportunity based in the company Head Office.
The key objectives of the job:
To build application software according to schedules as well as on demand using standard build tools.
Managing the version control of in-house and third party software.
Supporting the senior BS2000 tester and the test environments.
Support the application developers
Your skills and experience should include: Use of a source control tool (eg SourceSafe) InstallShield and SQL. Knowledge of Microsoft operating and services, e.g. Windows 2000, and use of Microsoft Office Tools.
Any of the following is desirable: Microsoft Visual Basic/ Visual C++ / .Net applications, Use of Version control and application build tools, SourceSafe, InstallShield 12/ 2008, Firebuilder and Symantec Ghost.
